Good pasture management starts below the soil and results in strong, more resilient pastures. Highly productive pastures can feed horses and provide safe footing, reduce the cost of horse ownership, and protect natural resources.
Pasture Management Services:
Soil Testing
A soil test is an excellent way to gauge current soil productivity, discover soil issues, and plan for maintenance of soil health through the addition of appropriate soil amendments.
Lime
Acid (low pH) in the soil is corrected by adding lime
Fertilizer
This will essentially “feed your seed”. Pasture and hay land grass growth is stimulated by fertilizer and encourages strong root growth
Weed Control
We offer horse friendly weed control applications and recommend spraying for weeds as they emerge to prevent them from going to seed. We also offer weed control for your riding rings, fence lines, etc.

Drill Seeding
We offer drill seeding with fast and stronger grass growth. Our top of the line drill places the seed into the ground at a specific depth and covers it back up. We offer any type of seed as well as custom mixtures!
RIDING RINGS:
JGB can supply and install your riding arena from start to finish. Getting the groundworks right is crucial. A well-constructed arena from the outset, is the key to producing a high performing, low maintenance and durable arena riding surface. Every project is considered as a one off, requiring planning and consideration. Nothing is overlooked and nothing is considered unimportant throughout the entire process.
The supply and install process begins with a full site survey which will enable us to provide a detailed, fixed quote for your new riding arena.
This will give you an opportunity to discuss your proposed arena size and the choice of equestrian surface which best meets your needs.
